How does it work

Microneedling is a advanced, medical grade e-Dermastamp device to stimulate the epidermis and dermis. This professional treatment produces thousands of micro-needle columns in the skin, which in turn stimulates the skin to naturally regenerate and repair itself.

Our electronically powered device allows our practitioner to control the intensity and needle length throughout the procedure to maximise results. This also means we can bespoke the treatment to your specific needs.

Microneedling is considered to be a more comfortable treatment than manual Dermaroller.

Treatment Procedure

A topical anaesthetic is applied so you’ll remain comfortable throughout. The actual treatment will take around 20 minutes depending on the area of skin that’s being treated – overall your appointment is likely to last just one hour – nothing when you consider the results that you’ll see!

So what does that mean for your skin?

The holes close up quickly while your skin’s natural processes are kick-started under the surface.

As part of this stimulation new collagen can be formed, new skin cells generated and the structure of the dermis, the lower level of the skin, enhanced. This natural process takes time, so it can take up to six weeks before you see significant results – although the process will continue over the following months and several treatments are usually required.

The results are not only smoother, brighter rejuvenated skin, but it can also lead to an improvement in the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks.

Skin conditions we can treat

Acne Scarring

Lines & wrinkles

Pitted skin

Enlarged pores

General skin rejuvenation

Pigmentation

Stretchmarks

Aftercare

After the treatment your skin will remain red, looking similar to moderate sunburn, for around 24-36 hours. Your practitioner will apply  a soothing and calming gel and sunscreen following your procedure.

Home Advice

Your Home-Use Skincare programme will contain everything you need to soothe and protect your skin during your treatment course – it’ll also contain advanced, clinically proven technologies to change your skin and enhance the results of your in-clinic treatments. This includes a Hyaluronic treatment mask, aftercare healing gel and sunscreen. The Heliocare sunscreen provides broad spectrum UVA|UVB protection for your skin as well as a whole host of anti-oxidants and DNA repair enzymes to further protect your skin.

Home Dermaroller

You can even continue the benefits of skin needling at home with the Zenii Dermaroller Home Roller. This device uses much shorter needles to stimulate the epidermis, the top level of skin, to improve texture, tone and fine lines. You can use it in between your in-clinic treatments to enhance results, and because the needles are much shorter there’s no need for topical anaesthetic – simply follow the instructions from your practitioner. This is available through our online shop & we are able to post out to your home address. Please see link below.

Treatment Interval’s

We normally recommended a course of three treatments at 4-6  six weeks apart.

Safety

Our device is CE marked and  has been through the strictest quality control system to ensure a safe and thorough procedure.
